Mark Corboy

Bachelor of Business (Accounting) Swinburne Institute

Having worked for large corporates AMP and Mobil Oil, Mark migrated his skills to small business as the General Manager of Jens Gaunt Real Estate. His experience lead him to recognise the opportunity to significantly improve commercial outcomes through the improved use of emerging digital technologies.

Mark subsequently founded a consulting business specialising in real estate. He Initially focused on training and administration implementation. That role evolved into coaching and mentoring for individual agents, with some great success stories (see testimonials).
Soon Mark found himself in demand beyond his capacity, leading him to explore the world of external resourcing. Mark used several different forms of outsourcing without landing on a satisfactory outcome. Around this time Mark became aware that Tristan Jens, son of his first real estate employer, had founded a family-based outsourcing firm in the Philippines. Mark finally had the outsourcing he needed and a new business partner as well.

Mark’s outstanding communication skills together with his comprehensive systems and industry knowledge, render him perfectly suited to client liaison and design. Mark analyses needs and works with the clients to develop and deliver effective, efficient, best-fit solutions for their business.

Registered BAS Agent

Growing up in a home dominated by the Real Estate industry, it seemed inevitable that Tristan would one become involved himself. After earning his Bachelor, Tristan worked as the Accounts Manager for an agency for 3 years, before deciding to become his own boss.
Tristan set up shop as a bookkeeping and BAS lodgement agency and also began to establish his outsourcing business in the Philippines. The outsourcing venture began with a single staff member working from home but Demand soon outgrew that situation and a 10 person office was procured in Clark in the central area of Luzon. With the business growing rapidly another move was needed in 2012 to a nearby, spacious, modern office to accommodate 25 staff. Around the same time Tristan migrated from his home office to an upper-deck office space in the CBD of his native Ballarat.

As a youngster, Tristan developed a passion for electronics and digital technology, little realising how much his deep knowledge of I.T. and software would become an integral part of his future business.

Tristan is the back office specialist in Logiq. He might be found building and honing the implementations of Mark’s client analysis, programming and allocating HR resources in The Philippines, or tinkering at the back end of SQL reporting tools for dashboarding and data mining.
